Local Goat ATV Resort   is located in Delbarton, West Virginia. Its located right in the town of Delbarton with easy access to gas, food, and groceries. It is truly one of the few places we have stayed that qualifies as a "resort". As of the writing of this review, it's the only place we've seen that ALL the reviews are 5 stars on Google. Local Goat is truly one of the very few places that can claim the title, RESORT!

Local Goat ATV Resort (named after a local goat that hangs at the resort) is located just off the main road in Delbarton making it easy to bring in your trucks and trailers. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous.

Local Goat is located very close (less than 1/4 mile) from access to HMT Buffalo Mountain Trail System (top rated trails!). You can easily ride from the resort on your atv/utv since they do allow trail riders to ride on the streets (in most areas). Buffalo Mountain connects to 2 other systems (Devil Anse and Rock House) so you can ride for days or even a week without having to reload your rides.

The cabins are the best we've ever stayed in! Each cabin is individually named and has electronic key locks (no worries about losing keys). As nice as the outside is, the inside is jaw dropping gorgeous. Handmade steps and rails lead up to the loft area where there are 2 queen beds. There are also 2 separate bedrooms down stairs each with their own queen bed. The living and dining areas are distinctly set apart from the sleeping areas meaning you can really relax after a days worth of riding. Local Goat does provide all the linens, towels and kitchen utinsils including pots, pans, dishes, etc. In fairness, we found a couple of minor issues with the cabins. Our cabin did not have a light over the bathroom sink nor the kitchen table. Also the toilet in the bathroom was very close to the wall (we are of average build and our leg was against the wall when we were on the "throne," lol). Like I said, very minor issues indeed.

Ouside, each cabin has it's own hot tub, gas grill and fire pit! Local Goat provides the propoane and fire wood for each cabin as well!

If that's not enough, Local Goat also has a great wash station for atvs! It costs a few bucks but it is well worth it to have a place to clean your ride and radiator... LOCAL GOAT HAS THOUGHT of ALMOST EVERYTHING! In conclusion, Local Goat is simply one of the best resorts to stay at any time of the year!
